Dwayne Johnson Shares Updates On The Next Two Fast And The Furious Movies

We knew that the sequel to Fast Five would be split into two films, and there was apparently talk of the movies being filmed back-to-back, however, from what Dwayne Johnson tells MTV, that’s not the case any more.
TALKING TO MTV NEWS
We were going to try that because it wouldn't make sense to have the same crew and have everybody there in one place, but I think we're dealing with some weather issues, so from what I know we're going to shoot 'Fast 6' first and then worry about 'Fast 7' a little later.

Fast 6 and Fast 7 were ing to shoot back-to-back but Johnson explained that plan has since ben scrapped.

It will be interesting to see how that affects the latest two movies. And apparently the Fast gang is heading overseas in he upcoming movies. Johnson teased two locations where Fast 6 and Fast 7 were going to be filmed. But wouldn't say which location was for which movie.
"We're going to the UK, and we're going to Germany, from what i know. That's the early talks, he said and we're going shooting in may"

Dwayne Johnson isn’t new to action films, but he was new to the Fast and Furious franchise, up until the last movie, in which he played a starring role and opposing character to stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Among his upcoming projects are G.I. Joe: Retaliation and the recently released Journey 2: Mysterious Island.
